PROJECTS. FOOD PRODUCTS

Coffee logistics and distribution to USA and Europe

We developed an internal operation in Brazil using returning trucks, to move coffee from Minas Gerais and Sao Paulo to the port of Santos. At the port, we maximize the efficiency of the operation by shipping the cargo in containers using bags or with Liners. The mode depended on the infrastructure at destination.

Food products from Brazil to Angola

We represented a major food producer of soy butter and soy oil, to commercialize his products in Angola. Due to specific logistics and commercial needs, our process proved to be more efficient and less risky. We developed a specialized network to guarantee the product flow and payments.

Full vessels of soybeans from Brazil to north of Europe

We developed a project with a group of soy producers in Brasil to export their cargo to specific markets in Europe. Their goal is to increase their freedom and independency regarding the major trading companies acting today in the market.
With economies of scale, the exporters were able to maximize their earnings and by diversifying their client base, minimize their exposure.

Organic soy in containers to Europe

Due to the small production and the handling requirements, we developed a container operation using liner to the north of Europe. In partnership with specialized grain terminals at destination, e decreased the distance between the producers to the final user.

Soy meal in containers to South Africa

One of the issues that make it hard to decrease the distance between the user and the producers, of agricultural commodities is the necessity of work with economies of scale. Therefore, most of the final user of the commodity does not have the needs and conditions to buy a full vessel of products, making necessary work via brokers and trading companies. We identified an opportunity to sale soy meal in small scale using containers. With containers, we saved on the intermediation, storage, and inland at destination. There are more containers terminals, therefore we were able to sale small volumes direct to the user increasing efficiency and saving on the logistics cost.

Soy oil from Brazil to Colombia in containers using flex tanks

One of the issues that make it hard to decrease the distance between the user and the producers, of agricultural commodities, is the necessity to work with economies of scale. Therefore, most of the final user of the commodity, does not have the needs and conditions to buy a full vessel of products; making obligatory to work via large brokers and trading companies. We developed a project with qualified importers from Colombia to buy soy oil in flexitalks, using 20DC containers. With containers, we saved on the intermediation, storage, and inland at destination. There are more containers terminals, therefore we were able to sale small volumes direct to the user increasing efficiency and saving on the logistics cost.

Yellow Corn in containers to West Africa

West Africa is one of the regions that need the most access of food products and resources that we have ever worked with. Unfortunately, due to high risks and political uncertainties has one of the most expensive logistics and operation costs in the world. We worked with local distributors to identify the best solution to supply this market with yellow corn in containers. With containers, we made possible for small farmers to have access to a good and competitive price of yellow corn for animal feeding.

We were able to create an alternative that has been beneficial to whom needs the most.
