For the south America Pine we operate on two options. Containers from Brazil and Full vessels from Uruguay. The species are predominantly Eliotis with some Taeda Volume from Brazil.

Our teak plantations are 5 to 20 years old, with averaging 13 years. The plantations is based in the center of Brazil, with a complex logistics structure (truck + rail) we are able to provide competitive container rates to C&F anywhere in the world. Some of our Teak plantations are FSC certified.

Spruces are originally from mountain regions in America and in Europe. Spruces are not very resistant to heat and drought. Long-term water shortage weakens the trees. For the last 3 years due to a combination of drought, excessive heat, severe storms and an infestation of the Spruce Bark Beetle, Millions of hectares in Europe has fallen.
Therefore, BWP SA with the local government forests owners, are looking to solve this issue, by cleaning the areas and exporting the logs to the Asian market. These combined efforts are to trying to avoid strong Beetle infestation and fires during the summer.
